THE popular Headley Walking for Health group has picked up some new members, and most weeks it now has about 30 people who turn up for the weekly walks.
The group meets at Headley Village Hall at 10.30am on Wednesdays, and set offs on one of its eight walks in the area.
Leader John Stone said: "No power walking here - just a nice stroll in the fresh air with lots of chat and good company."
The walks vary between one and one and a half hours and, for those who want it, there is coffee, tea and a toasted tea cake in the Holly Bush pub afterwards.
Mr Stone said: "This always finishes off the morning beautifully."
He said that new members were always welcome and could just turn up on the day for no charge.
