A 20-year-old student from the University for the Creative Arts in Farnham, has released his first illustrated children’s book entitled ‘Tilly the Terrier’.
Ben Simons who is studying illustration, was supported to publish the book by Arkbound after successfully completing a work placement earlier this year.
He has always wanted to publish an illustrated children’s book and it represents a massive breakthrough for him.
Tilly the Terrier is described as a story that is both charming and delightful. Across each page a poetic journey of spirited animal adventures and thoughts is weaved, making the book suitable for younger children (ages three to six) and grown-up ones alike.
“Simons has done an incredible job both writing and illustrating this sweet little book, detailing the random day-to-day thoughts of an adorable terrier,” commented reviewer Henry Spicer.
“The real draw here (no pun intended) is the beautiful illustrations, and that compliment simply cannot do justice to the talent on show here.”
Tilly the Terrier is available from Arkbound for £5.99. It is also available on Amazon and in all good book stores. For more information contact edito
