Liphook Carnival committee chair Sally Cameron says she considers her acceptance as a Bramshott and Liphook Parish Council member an honour.

She said: “I am delighted to be a parish councillor, and my 12 years in the Royal Air Force, a career in finance and recently chairing the Liphook Carnival committee have given me the necessary skills to represent the village I live and work in.

“I will work hard to be well informed on local matters and listen to the needs and requirements of my community and I consider this role an honour and a privilege.

“I will serve with honesty and integrity.”
