FOLLOWING the annual meeting of Blackmoor Golf Club, the Captain’s Drive-In ceremony was held on October 14.

In attendance, at the Firgrove Road club, was president Derek Williams, past captains and fellow members.

Newly-elected captain Alex Greenaway (third from left, front row) drove 258 yards down the fairway.

This distance was correctly guessed by Keith Robinson in the drive-in sweep, which raised money for Cancer Research, the new captain’s charity.

Preceding him on the tee were Maisie Orb (fourth from left, front), Brian Chambers (first from left, front) and Clare Briscoe (second from left, front) - the respective juniors’, seniors’ and ladies’ captains for the new club year.
