NEW faces joining Liphook’s Methodist Amateur Dramatics Company (MAD) this year for Rumplestiltskin, a panto written and directed by Vanessa Breach, celebrating 25 years of bringing traditional pantomime and live theatre to the local community.

Owner of the village bakery Dame Eccles (David Jenner) makes an extravagant promise to King Marzipan (Tony Robinson) and Queen Madeleine (Mandy Coluccia). How will the beautiful Victoria (Becca McGregor) ever turn straw into gold, to be able to marry her one true love, the dashing Prince Florentine (Arran Treacher Evans).
All is surely lost? Oh no it isn’t! Not in panto land with magic, promises and some useful spells to share – but everything comes at a price. The performances at Bohunt Centre, Longmoor Road. are on Friday, February 19, at 7.30pm and on Saturday, February 20, with a 3pm matinee and a 7.30pm performance.
