A NOTORIOUS 'sex lay-by' on the A31 Hogs Back is set to come under new management after years of friction between the local community and Surrey County Council.

Puttenham residents are preparing to take responsibility for the management of an area between the offending lay-by on the westbound A31 carriageway and Puttenham village.

Villagers have long complained of so-called 'dogging' activity in woodland and fields overlooking their village and primary school, and have finally decided to take matters into their own hands.
