NEW Waverley council planning guidance for telecom mast applications is a matter of "evolution rather than revolution" according to development and planning manager Stephen Thwaites.
The guidance sets out the conditions which must be met if planning permission is to be granted and includes an amendment to the policy which states that a genuine public perception of health risks arising from telecommunication development must be considered when determining an application.
