New mayor pledges her support for issues that most concern the people of Haslemere

HASLEMERE'S Town Mayor for the coming year was announced as Fay Foster at a ceremony at the Town Hall last Thursday.

Mrs Foster, who was presented with the chain by out-going mayor Brian Howard, announced her mayoral charity would be the new Haslewey community centre project, because she felt it would "benefit the town so much".
