A NEW parish priest has been appointed to the benefice of Selborne, Newton Valence and East Tisted to replace the Rev James Anderson who retired in the summer.
John Preston (59) has for the last 12 years served as vicar of West End, near Southampton. His induction at St Mary's Church will take place on Friday, March 31.
