TWO public defibrillators have been installed in Rowledge, one outside the Co-op Store in The Square and the other outside the Methodist Church in Chapel Road.
Following an application by Jan Clark, under the auspices of the Rowledge Residents’ Association, the defibrillators were awarded to the community by obtaining a grant from the British Heart Foundation. Grateful thanks must also go to Keith Aston of Heartstart, Farnham Lions for all his help and assistance.
If anyone would like to learn how to administer CPR and find out how the defibrillator operates, training sessions for local groups and individuals are going to be held. Alternatively Heartstart Farnham Lions run courses on Wednesday nights at the St John hall in Farnham.
If anyone is interested in joining any of the sessions contact Jan Clark on email [email protected].
