IT was standing room only last week for the latest round in the continuing battle to build a new Churcher's Junior School in the grounds of Churcher's College.
With representatives from each of the three sides involved in the emotive debate – Rother residents, Petersfield Town Council and the headmaster of Churcher's College, Geoffrey Buttle – allowed to speak for three minutes, East Hampshire planners agreed to a site visit at the end of the month to see for themselves the problems the new school could create.
