THE Royal Oak Roadmakers Football Club will be cutting a dash in Germany this summer, after being given new club shirts at a presentation at the Whitehill pub, on Sunday.
The presentation was organised by chairman Carsten Waller and the shirts were a gift from sponsor Embil, a civil-engineering firm in Mitcham, Surrey.
They will wear the shirts during the annual trip to Monninghausen, where they will play two matches during the village's traditional summer festival.
Mr Waller said: "Schutzenfest has become the most important part of our calendar and young and old people party together and exchange stories."
