APRIL sees three new shows for children at the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre's Mill Studio.

An adaptation of Mark Twain's classic, Tom Sawyer from Lanternfish Theatre Company takes a physical, action-packed form, bringing characters including Huckleberry Finn and Injun Joe to life on April 6.

Children aged four and above will be invited on stage to play important roles in the drama, and to join in with the sounds of American folk songs.

On Saturday, April 13, another children's favourite takes to the stage with Nellie The Elephant's Circus Adventure.

The Flying Pig Company is the creative force behind this show, which includes audience participation, songs, slapstick comedy, special effects and UV sequences. Ideal show for children under nine.

Saturday, April 20 sees the return of Stephen Novy and Pekko's puppets, who recently delighted Guildford audiences with Hans Chrisfian Andersen Tells Tales.

This time, the beautifully painted and dressed puppets will tell the story of Aladdin from The Arabian Nights.

Children aged three and above will love the Genie, the lavish palace and the wicked, magician from Morocco on his magic carpet!
