TWO of the country's biggest housebuilders have become the latest firms to sniff around a coveted farm on the edge of Petersfield.

The battle to save Causeway Farm from developers could take another turn judging by a request from Barratts and Bovis Homes.

The housebuilders, along with a Surrey firm called 4LL Ltd, have aspirations to build as many as 250 homes on the greenfield site.
