WOOLMER Forest Timebank, where members both give their time and receive time from others, had a “busy” first meeting of the year, as well as greeting some new faces.

During the meeting on Thursday (January 2), members helped with a range of tasks, from tightening a loose screw on a reclining chair and solving a problem with a Google login, to printing a large-print copy of an instruction manual for a mobile phone which a visually-impaired member could not read.

Another member offered their living room for one of the Sewing for the Community sessions, while four others agreed to help paint the new extension at Whitehill Village Hall.
