THE NHS this week vowed to prioritise local concerns with a new model of healthcare amid transformations at the Chase Community Hospital.

The comments followed criticism by Bordon GPs, some of whom have experienced teething problems with the implementation of changes at the Bordon hospital.

Following the closure of the beds' ward a year ago, the NHS has deployed integrated care teams locally, which provide mobile care for residents who would, in the past, have been admitted to the Chase.
