A FARNHAM town councillor has asked Surrey County Council to apply pressure to Stagecoach over changes for the worse in the town's bus service.
The council's consultation process during its three-year review of local bus services has been applauded by the watchdog Passenger Focus as a model of best practice for the rest of the country to follow.
The accolade caused Independent councillor David Beaman to quip at a meeting of Farnham Town Council last month: "We have got no buses, but we have got a good process."
