PROBLEMS in building the Herons Leisure Centre in Haslemere, which led to a lengthy delay and a substantial overspend, are not likely to be resolved for another three or four years, Waverley borough councillors were told this week.

Chief executive Christine Pointer has, however, assured members the matter has "not been allowed to slip", and that everything was being done to achieve the "best possible outcome".
