CONSERVATIVES on Waverley Council have poured cold water on an independent councillor's bid to move Farnham's specific air quality problems up the agenda.

Alan Lovell, who represents Upper Hale on the borough council, had hoped for an urgent meeting between Surrey County Council and Waverley, aimed at achieving greater priority for the town's traffic and pollution issues.
