HOPES that lottery cash would fund the building of a new sports pavilion on Mill Chase recreation ground have been dashed, Whitehill town councillors have been told.
Members of the finance and policy committee have been told the application failed due to changes in sources of funding that only occurred after the application was submitted in June last year.
