THE Phoenix Theatre and Arts Centre hosted its fifth family fun day on Saturday to kick-start the annual Whitehill and Bordon Arts Festival. Phoenix spokesman Callum Graham said the day was a success and saw around £700 raised for the charity. "Despite inclement weather, attendance was up on last year," he said. "There was some really fun interactive activities and everyone seemed to have a good time. The money raised goes to the general upkeep of the building and helping to let us programme more family friendly events." A variety of activities at the fun day included the interactive vegetable orchestra as well as caterpillar crafts. For more pictures, see this week's Bordon Herald.
