NOMINATIONS are invited for local heroes who have given outstanding service to the people of Haslemere.

The next Haslemere Voluntary Award Scheme ceremony takes place on Wednesday, March 23, at The Georgian Hotel, to recognise the fantastic work some people do for the town and award them with medals.

Nominations should be submitted by Friday, February 19 and an application form can be downloaded at www. haslemere.com/awards or collected from the town council.

Full instructions are provided and the completed forms should be countersigned and posted to Fay Foster, c/o Town Hall, High Street, Haslemere GU27 2HG.
