PULLING out all the stops, a record 56-strong cast will perform Grayshott Panto’s blockbuster take on ‘Puss in Boots’.
The curtain rises at Grayshott Village Hall at 7.30pm tonight (Friday) and at 2pm and 5.30pm, tomorrow (Saturday), for the company’s 32nd production, written by Diana Lovelock and directed by Tina Wareham.
In a shock twist, someone is taking over the village and re-naming it. Audiences will also discover what three sons, a miller’s sister, and a cat have in store.
“This year we have the largest ever cast of 56, including pupils from Grayshott Primary,” said chairman Brian Flounders. “How do we accommodate such a large cast? We get the script writer to write more parts.”
“Our aim has always been everyone is welcome. As with all pantos, somewhere there is a plot “ and no, it is ‘not behind you’,” Mr Flounders added.
