CHILDREN'S services and activities in Petersfield and beyond could be the latest to feel the pain of cash-saving measures with expected cuts of £6m over the coming year.

As job cuts and other cost-cutting initiatives announced by Hampshire County Council start to bite, the axe is expected to fall on services offered at Sure Start centres, among them the site in Readon Close, Petersfield.
