A POPULAR children's nursery school near Petersfield which had its beginnings during the year of the royal silver jubilee is now celebrating a special anniversary in the Queen's diamond jubilee year.

"It was a really good day, with lots of children and parents and plenty of cakes," said Rachel Goodchild-Swan, whose mum Janet founded the nursery in 1977.
