PEOPLE fighting a pair of "stealth developments" in Petersfield have been urged to fight their corner by town councillors.

David Graver has been accused of abusing the planning system by residents and members of the Petersfield Town Council planning committee.

The claims were made last Tuesday in light of retrospective plans to alter buildings behind 23 Pulens Lane and 22 High Street.

They have been backed by The Petersfield Society, who previously voiced the concerns about extensive alterations to the latter.

Residents believe that an outbuilding behind Ashwood House has been turned into a dwelling through a series of clandestine changes.

The applicant admits in the design and access statement that development has not been carried out "strictly in accordance" with the proposals.
