OWNERS of Old Thorns country estate have hit back at residents' claims that their gardens have been flooded, they have suffered increased light pollution and a loss of privacy.
Chief executive Ashley Butterfield insisted this week that Old Thorns' proposed development would bring much-needed employment by creating some 300 new jobs and claimed local businesses welcomed an increase in tourism.
