A LITTLE girl on the other side of the world is among young people to benefit from this year's renewal of Onion Fest.

Pukky is one of 15 children from Thailand who are enjoying an education and achieving their ambitions following the devastating Asian tsunami of 2004.

And it is all thanks to the Petersfield-based Char's Fund which was set up in memory of 23-year-old Charlotte Jones, from Love Lane, who perished in the catastrophic tsunami.
