A FURTHER 15 gypsy pitches have been approved in the face of stiff opposition at a single site in Dunsfold.

But that still leaves a shortfall of 15 out of the 37 required across Waverley identified by the borough council as being neeeded between 2006 and 2011.

The hunt is now on for suitable sites for additional pitches to be provided from 2012 onwards.
