AN East Hampshire man has set his sights on praising a Petersfield optometrist who spotted he had a serious condition during a routine test.
David Edbrooke-Stainer is the living proof that people should have regular sight tests.
The 52-year-old from Steep is preparing for surgery after an optometrist at Specsavers' Petersfield branch spotted a blood clot at the back of his right eye.
