RESIDENTS are invited to get involved in a community art project featuring thousands of origami doves, as part of Bordon’s VE Day celebrations.

Most of the doves will be used in an art installation at St Mark’s Shared Church, while others will be displayed as mobiles in shops, schools and community buildings, or mounted onto rods and paraded by children’s groups as part of the memorial services.

There will also be a number of silver doves, each one bearing a name from the Book of Remembrance in Bordon Library.

Workshops will be held from 10am to midday at Bordon Library (March 27 and April 24), St Mark’s Church (April 2) and at the community centre (April 10). To get involved email [email protected]
