OUTRAGE has greeted an East Hampshire District Council decision to recommend the development of almost 300 homes in a village south of Petersfield.

A residents' action group has this week warned that granting outline planning permission for 275 new homes in Clanfield could also have dire consequences for Petersfield, battling to stop proposed new development of almost 600 homes on four separate reserve sites in the town.
