FARNHAM Help for Refugees has thanked the public for yet another outstanding response to its latest collection at St Thomas-on-the Bourne church.

The group said on Facebook following the event: “Thank you to everyone who organised, publicised, sorted and donated at our event yesterday. Another amazing collection - so amazing the sorting and tidying spilled into this morning.

“Two full vans of aid have been taken already to High Wycombe Helping Others who will load it onto a container and get it shipped to refugees.

“A particular thank you to the mystery donor who brought lots of hand- knitted baby clothes with Arabic greeting tags.”
