FOLLY Hill Infant School in Hale has been celebrating being upgraded from a "good school" to an "outstanding" one as the result of its Ofsted inspection in November.

The inspectors found standards in reading, writing and mathematics are consistently significantly above average by the end of year two, from levels that are broadly similar to those expected for the age group at the start of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
