THE northbound slip-road connecting the A31 Hog’s Back to the A3 in Guildford will be closed overnight for the next five weeks, after a lighting replacement scheme got under way on Monday.
The closure will take place nightly between 9pm and 6am, with Guildford-bound traffic to be diverted via the B3000 towards Puttenham, along the A31, Farnham Road through Guildford to the University junction.
In addition, the southbound Hogs Back exit slip will also be closed overnight, between 10pm and 6am, on Thursday, June 22, until Saturday, July 1, (Monday to Friday only) for survey works.
A clearly signed diversion route will be in place via the Compton junction and along the B3000 through Puttenham to re-join the A31.
