THREE friends have raised more than £4,400 for charity after travelling more than 870 miles - the length of the British mainland - in memory of motocross victim Brad Hooper. Brad, a 16-year-old Heath End schoolboy, died in May this year after he was involved in a crash at a motocross event in Hampshire. Friends Mackenzie Bonner, Matthew Jones and Josh Price worked as a team to raise as much money as they could for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance, which flew in to help their friend. They cycled, kayaked, walked and ran to reach their 873.3 mile target, which they finally reached on Monday with a walk to St John the Evangelist Church in Hale where Brad was laid to rest.
