THERE was no shortage of flippin' fun as Liss Junior School pupils held their annual pancake day races.

Keeping score for Tuesday's culinary capers was headteacher Andrew Burford, who made sure that all the youngsters involved in the 32 mini-races tossed their pancakes the required number of times before racing to the finish.

Winners were rewarded with Easter eggs and creme eggs donated by the friends of the Hill Brow Road school.
