THE epic story of Robinson Crusoe will be taken to the stage by the Phoenix Players this pantomime season.
Written and directed by Joshua Dixon, the swashbuckling show promises to be a “real spectacle with side-splitting comedy, toe-tapping numbers and a host of hilarious characters”.
The voyage promises pillaging pirates, daring quests and nautical escapades. Will Robinson Crusoe reach the Temple of Treasures before the dastardly Blackheart?
Following last weekend’s on-stage fun, further performances take place at 7.30pm on Friday, and Saturday, when there will also be a matinee performance at 2.30pm.
There will also be performances on January 21, January 22 and January 23 at 7.30pm, with a 2.30pm performance on January 23.
Tickets cost £9.50, £8.50 for concessions, and are available from the box office on 01420 472664 or visit phoenixarts.co.uk.
