FEEDBACK for a major consultation by localism group Haslemere Vision reveals support for a park-and-ride to help solve the parking problems around Haslemere railway station.

The town's Vision group sent 7,000 leaflets to businesses and households in Haslemere, Hindhead, Beacon Hill, Camelsdale and Shottermill with a questionnaire on how best to deal with traffic, transport, parking, and economic issues.

Joint favourites topping the list of priorities were solving the town's parking problems and developing community assets for the benefit of the community as a whole.
