A LACK of parking spaces could scupper a bid for two retailers to move into a disused warehouse in Petersfield.

Developers have been forced to revise plans for Lidl and Majestic Wines to move into the former Focus DIY store on Station Road.

Cockspur Property Ltd submitted plans in April to convert the building and vary licensing agreements to permit the sale of food and drink.

There are now question marks as the applicants have withdrawn the a request for a deed of variation to a section 106 agreement.

And there's more bad news for Cockspur, as Hampshire County Council have recommended refusal because there's not enough parking.
