FARNHAM motorists will have to pay more to park in Waverley council car parks from April 1, with the town earmarked to net £32,000 out of a £50,000 increase in Waverley revenue.

The new charges will see Farnham pay and display car park returns reaching nearly £1 million a year compared with £340,000 in Godalming and £170,000 in both Cranleigh and Haslemere.
