A PARKING strategy for Haslemere could be put in place while the town waits for a controlled-parking zone (CPZ) scheme to be implemented, Surrey county councillior for Haslemere Christine Stevens said this week.

Mrs Stevens had been meeting Haslemere residents to take "constructive action" following the decision to implement a controlled-parking zone (CPZ) scheme in Godalming before Haslemere.
