THE close partnership between Four Marks-based coach company Top Marks Coaches and Eggar’s School in Alton has been recognised by Hampshire County Council as an example of best practice.

Working closely together has ensured that the 100 or so students using the Top Marks service to travel to and from school do so safely and securely, and in a comfortable and relaxed environment.

Mark Hack, the owner of Top Marks Coaches, and Anthony Carter, assistant headteacher at Eggar’s School, were both invited to present their partnership model as part of an anti-bullying conference in Winchester.

There they emphasised the importance of a close working relationship between the two organisations which has led to the success of the arrangement, and the recognition that their collaboration is a model of best practice in Hampshire.
