ENVIRONMENTAL economist Laura Plant has launched a new appeal, following on from her successful call for unwanted sewing machines for Malawi, made through the Fernhurst Centre and the Haslemere Herald.

Laura’s new fundraiser is for the same charity – The Sparkle Foundation – to benefit vulnerable children in Malawi.

On sale now is her book Anyone Game?, a comically illustrated compendium of 30 party games primarily for grown-ups.

The fun includes well-known favourites spiced up with some optional twists, as well as new additions, and profits will support Sparkle.
