THE biggest party of the year is being planned for PetersfieldÕs Children in Need night on Friday, November 16 with special play equipment for young children, live family entertainment on a large stage and a host of celebrities.
The fun begins at 6.30 pm when the Petersfield parade will leave Cranford Road.
The procession is expected to reach The Square an hour later, when there will be bands playing for the spectators.
At 8 pm the fun starts in the Festival Hall car park, where a childrenÕs playground of soft equipment will be provided complete with rope bridges and slides.
Youngsters will also get the chance to have their pictures taken with Father Christmas and meet Pudsey Bear.
The eveningÕs entertainment will be opened by deputy mayor of Petersfield Mary Vincent.
There will be live family entertainment on a large stage specially set up in the car park from 6 pm to l0.30 pm.
