IT takes more than a bit of rain to kill Blackmoor's patriotic spirit, and an Olympics and Jubilee extravaganza on Saturday proved that residents will not let weather dampen the mood.

There was a colourful collection of stalls and amusements, which were enjoyed by people of all ages.

Village residents turned out in force to celebrate both iconic events of 2012.
