AMBITIOUS plans to build a £287,000 pavilion next to a sports field in Liss is "nearly set in stone", according to a councillor.

Detailed plans for the West Liss pavilion project were revealed to residents and councillors on Monday at the village hall.

Liss Parish Council wants to replace the current Scout hut and wooden pavilion on Station Road with a building fit for the 21st century.

The pavilion will include a lobby and central space that can be partitioned, alongside a kitchen, quiet room, public toilets and changing facilities.
