COUNCILLORS have signed off a one per cent pay rise for all Waverley Borough Council staff.
Waverley’s decision-making executive committee agreed to the pay award, following negotiations with council officers and their union representatives, at its meeting on Tuesday, April 4.
The agreement also includes a commitment to continue paying the living wage and the promise of loans for rail and car park season tickets, bicycles and cars for “essential car owners”.
