A PETERSFIELD policeman who plucked a man facing certain death from the Thames has received on of the highest police awards.
The prompt actions of Pc Ray Allan from Kings Road, a dog handler with British Transport Police for 19 years, has been recognised in a commendation from the chief constable of British Transport Police.
