THE children at Little Fishes Nursery School in Rowledge put their energy to good use and turned pedal power into sponsorship money for Childline.
The children pedalled, scooted or pushed their way around a fun course just outside the nursery and church. They could carry on for as long as they liked in order to raise money from friends and family.
“The boys and girls had an amazing time and they love that they are raising money to help other children. It was the reason we chose Childline as our charity,” said Judith Parish, nursery manager.
Childline is one of the vital services provided by leading children’s charity, the NSPCC. Their trained counsellors are there for vulnerable children who have nowhere else to turn.
The team has successfully raised in the region of £400.
